1875 by Orlando Coolidge, is on the National Historic Register. Mr. Coolidge was the first commercial nurseryman in the Rogue Valley. At the time, the hills surrounding the home were working nursery fields supplying Southern Oregon's finest fruits, nuts, shrubs, flowers, and ornamental trees.
The Coolidge House is the third oldest home in Ashland. The architectural style is considered Italianate Victorian. It is the first house built in the row that is commonly referred to as the "Three Sisters" in Ashland.
Renovation on the house started in 1988 by Brad Parker. With the help and guidance of the Oregon Historical Society, Brad took great care to maintain the structural and stylistic integrity of the house. The porch and upper balcony are a replica of the original porch that was altered in 1928.
The lush grounds surrounding the Inn are a tribute to his life's work. The home is recognized as one of Ashland's oldest and finest, and it rests firmly as one of the community's premier Bed & Breakfast Inns.
During the summer season, breakfast is served daily in the courtyard.
